SHOCKING: Police discover car buried with bodies in Nasarawa

 Residents of Nasarawa
State were still in shock
yesterday over the
discovery of the bodies of
two bankers and their
driver.
They were allegedly
ambushed by suspected Ombatse boys, who took them
to the bush, killed them, set them ablaze with their car
and buried them with the car by the riverside.
The incident happened at Tudun Adabu in Obi Local
Government.
The Police Command has arrested 14 suspects in
connection with the murder.
The deceased bankers are Alhaji Hassan Gidado, who
was the managing director of the Police Microfinance
Bank, and Mr. Tunde Banwo.
The police, at a news conference on Monday, said after
the the bodies were exhumed, they were deposited at
the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in Lafia.
It was gathered that the two top bankers, who lived in
Abuja, were in Lafia for the wedding of a child of the
police commissioner-in-charge of Cooperative.
Police Commissioner Umar Shehu said the suspected
killers would soon be taken to court. He assured
residents that measures had been taken to curb the
activities of the outlawed Ombatse group.

18-year-old girl found dead in hotel room in Benin

 An 18-year-old girl,
Chinyere Onorfue, was
found in a hotel room in
Benin City, capital of Edo
state, dead
Chinyere who allegedly
checked into the hotel, with
one Emmanuel Ajayi, on 19 August, was discovered
dead in the room at about 8 pm of the same date, with
her throat slashed.
Investigations by operatives of the Edo state police
command led to the arrest of Emmanuel Ajayi and
another suspect who were allegedly found in the hotel
room, with the girl’s mobile phone in their possession.
They were paraded before journalists in Benin.
Also paraded by the state commissioner of police,
Foluso Adebanjo, were 20 suspects who allegedly
gang rapéd their victims at different locations in Benin.
Amongst them were Emmanuel Okoro, Lucky Ighodaro,
Moses Israel and Osakpamwan Ameye, who allegedly
dragged their 20-year-old victim (names withheld) into
an uncompleted building at Evboutubu area of Benin at
about 10 pm and gange-rapéd her.
In yet another incident, Sunday Erico andOsifo
Okumabo along with four others now at large, allegedly
forced their 17-year-old victim into the back of their
compound where they serially rapéd her.
Mr. Adebanjo disclosed to journalists that 44
suspected criminals were arrested bythe police in the
state over alleged involvement in various criminal
activities in the past few weeks, 26 of whom were
paraded.
The police commissioner further disclosed that 10 of
the suspects were already being prosecuted, including
one James Farmer who was alleged to have been part
of a gang that kidnapped a politician in the state along
Emaking Junction, Irrua, Edo state where they
allegedly attacked two prison officers and shot one
dead while they went away with their rifle.
He called on residents in the state to be very cautious
as the yuletide draws near and report suspicious
persons and activities to the police.
“The war against crime and criminality is being waged
relentlessly here in Edo state and I want to let the
members of the public know that this is the ember
months and everybody has to be security conscious.
This is the time criminals want to reap where they did
not sow. The people must be security conscious, they
should know their neighbourhood very well and
promptly report suspicious movements.
“We will continue to do our best but we want to
cooperation of members of the pubic because we can’t
do it alone, we need the collaboration of everybody in
Edo state to fight crime and criminality in the state. As
you can see, there have not been any case of kidnapping
in the past one week plus, we want to sustain and we
can only do with the cooperation of the members of the
public,” Adebanjo said.
He noted that the recent stakeholders meeting the
command organised few days ago was already yielding
results as “people are calling us, giving us information.
It is always good to work with the public, the police is
part of the public and the public is part of the police.”

Late Prophet Ajanaku's Close Aide Speak…He Was A Liar, Cheat, and Adultrer

 Another shocking revelation
has surfaced on the late
Prophet Ireti Ajanaku. One
of his close aides who
worked for him for five
years, Emmanuel Olasemeji
who is a furniture maker,
opened up to Encomium
Weekly on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, on the
late Prophet he knew…
How did you become one of late Prophet Ajanaku’s
aides?
The first day I saw him, I was not attracted to him
because of his physical look. He bleached. However,
when my boss who was one of his church members
introduced me to him, he prayed for me. My decision to
visit his church was based on curiosity. That was in
2007. Sincerely, there is no way you won’t marvel at
his preaching. He preached with persuasive and
authoritative words.
I was wowed. And that was when he was about
completing his multi-million naira mansion. And most of
the church members volunteered to assist the builders.
He asked me to work for God in his house and do the
furniture. I can’t lie to you, when Prophet Ajanaku
spoke you would think it was God. His church members
saw him as god. He often told us that he wines and
dines with God and that if he wants anybody to die
tomorrow, it would happen. We all respected and
feared him. You dare not say no to his request.
He said he had the power to save someone from
ultimate death. My decision to open up was not to
malign his character but be factual. Even before his
death, I confessed this feat openly to him. I can’t
doubt his power but not as a Christian. For instance,
someone came to see him. He said some people
predicted he was going to die at a certain date. Thus,
he was warned not to go out. Prophet Ajanaku closed
his eyes for a minute and the next moment said the man
should go out that day that nothing would happen to him.
And nothing happened to him indeed.
I can say that though he was very powerful but his
lifestyle and character were questionable.
How many months did you work in his house?
I stayed inside his house for nine months to complete
the whole job. The reason was that most of the job was
done at night. He won’t allow you to work on the upper
parts of the house during day time until he gave you the
nod. And mostly at night. If you complained that it
would disturb people staying with him, he would say as
the owner, all I needed was his approval.
How would you describe him?
Although he wielded spiritual power but he was not a
man of God. The bubble burst some years back when
one of his personal aides, Mr. Adefeso traveled with
him to South Africa on a missionary assignment. The
aide is quite educated. He is an elderly person. That
was in November 2010. And there is one thing about
prophet, whenever he is angry with anybody, he would
tell the church members that God is angry with such
person and that anybody that relates with such a
person would incur the wrath of God.
Thus, once you incur his wrath, the whole church would
stop greeting you. Before they travelled to South
Africa, there was an issue on ground. He was
renovating the church. He engaged the services of one
of his church members who sold woods and planks to
supply the church.
I supervised the project and it was N750,000. He was
to pay after the project. After the project, he
refused to pay. And the member knew it wrecked his
small business. It became an issue and it was his
personal a ide, Mr. Adefeso who waded in and said
prophet would pay. That was when they travelled to
South Africa. When they got back, we discovered they
had an issue.
The aide claimed he discovered some of his secrets
while on the trip but till date refused to disclose them.
However, when prophet came back, he quickly started
telling us the man was evil, that we should
excommunicate him. I know him well, once he knew you
had discovered some of his negative acts, he would
blackmail you with lies. That was the same thing he did
for Tope Alabi.
What are the things you discovered about him?
First, he is a chronic liar. Do you know that the money
he owed he never paid back? The matter was taken to
the police at Panti and he denied owing the man. He said
he has paid him. I was shocked. They called me as a
witness. Though I was scared but I stood for the
truth. He spent over N500,000 to settle the case. And
at the end we even became the victim. He specialized in
turning the tide against people who speak the truth.
He would fabricate lies against such person. And the
medium he used most was a soft-sell magazine. Second,
I can tell you authoritatively that he sleeps with his
female aides who stay in his house. He has agents who
recruit ladies in the church who are not employed.
They used their situation to entice them to work and
live with the prophet. And some only live with him for
like three months before he would fabricate lies
against them and send them parking. But none of them
could disclose their ordeal because he was a god.
But what about his wife?
His wife, Joy, was staying in the upper room. She only
comes down during church services. That’s why most
people don’t really know anything about her. She dares
not come down unless he gave approval.
We only discovered the truth when one of the ladies
who was also the wife’s aide known as Becky confessed
to a pastor at Abuja that he was sleeping with her. She
was dating a friend of mine who was also staying in his
house. The house is so big and many of us lived with him.
My friend and Becky travelled to Abuja and he
introduced her to a pastor in Abuja. That one now said
Becky has a secret and unless she revealed it, it would
affect their relationship. It took her four days to open
up that she has been sleeping with late Ajanaku. She
was scared she would die after the confession but with
prayer in Abuja, nothing happened to her. Although we
were suspicious but she gave us instances which we
were aware of and revealed how other girls too were
his sex slaves.
Also, most of his members go to the church with their
wealth but left poor. He was very rich. He swindled
them of their wealth and virtues.
Though we have never seen him with charm before but
he often told us he knows about all incantations
because he had been into all sorts of occultism before
he started his ministry.
He sa id they are all powerless compared to God’s
power. He is a pretender. Once he was about to
discard his enemies, he would say negative things about
them and since we were not privileged to see or hear
from God, we believed him. That’s what he used on
those girls too. He bleached and encouraged the girls
too to use the cream. I had to leave in 2011. I spent
five years with him.
Yes. It’s no secret that he had a wife and two kids who
died before he started the ministry. Aside that, he had
a baby out of wedlock, but he rejected the mother.
What’s the woman’s name?
I don’t know because he was even the one who revealed
it to us when the mother came to collect the boy’s
allowance of N20,000. Only few aides knew. I was so
close to him because I worked for him.
He had four rooms in that house which are exclusively
his own. He had a particular room that if he was there
for three months you won’t know.
On Friday, September 20, 2013, we contacted the
ministry’s spokesperson, Tosin, over some of these
allegations but he declined to make any comment.
“Please, I have nothing to say.”

UNBELIEVABLE: 27-Year-Old Man Breaks Into ATM, Steals N6.8 Million

The Police Command in the
FCT have begun
investigation into the
alleged theft of N6.8
million from the ATM of a
bank at Jabi District,
Abuja, on Saturday.
DSP Altine Daniel, the command’s spokesperson, who
disclosed this on Tuesday in an interview with the News
Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, said that a suspect
had been arrested in connection with the theft.
He said that the 27-year-old suspect (name withheld),
allegedly broke into the ATM belonging to one of the
old generation banks and stole the money.
Daniel, however, said that the amount that was stolen
was recovered “intact” from the suspect after he was
arrested in the premises of the bank.
“On Sept. 21, at about 10 a.m., some staff of
the bank came to report at our office at Utako
that their ATM had problem.
“When our men moved to the scene and started
looking for clues and anything that will assist them
in their investigation, they noticed that the CCTV
monitor room had been tampered with.
“After a thorough search, they also noticed that
the door of the toilet in the room was locked from
within and when they opened it, they found
somebody seated.
“The suspect was picked up and taken to the
station where he confessed to the crime,” she
said.
Daniel said the suspect claimed to have learned the act
of opening safe from the“youtube” (Internet) and
thereafter, bought some tools, including screw driver
and pliers, to carry out the act.
She alleged that the suspect removed N6.87 million
from the ATM and packed them in bags before his
arrest.
“Investigations into the case has started and we
are trying to find out if he acted alone or he has
some accomplices,” she said.

Revealed: How Lésbian Prostitutíon Booms In Lagos [PHOTOS]

 Lagos with its cosmopolitan
nature can best be
described as ” The Saddom
and Gomorah” of Nigeria,
everything and anything is
possible in Lagos. This
article by PM News is an eye
opener and a must read for
our young girls, we must save our generation from total
annihilation. Homoséxuality and lésbianism is a crime
against humanity.
Beautiful girls, rich women, money, expensive cars,
strip clubs, luxurious hotels —the secret séx trade,
exclusive only to women, is now big business in Lagos
State, southwest Nigeria, P.M.NEWS has revealed,
after intense undercover research.
Like in a secret cult, only the initiated understand its
cryptic language, esoteric ways, séxual benefits and
financial rewards.
For those involved in the bizarre trade, it was
discovered during investigation in Lagos Mainland and
Island, lésbianism is not new.
Most séx workers with secondary school education
agreed that their involvement in the salacious act dates
back to their boarding school days when they were
initiated by older girls.
Back then, it
was just
casual séx by girls in their puberty. Today, lésbianism
has become a trade, a big but hidden business in the
Lagos metropolis. Dozens of prostítutes informally
interviewed during this investigation gave a rare insight
into the usually hermetic world of lésbianism in Lagos
and the trade now associated with it. The youngest
lésbian prostítute P.M.NEWS met for this article was
16 years old. Most of them were in their early 20s.
Many get involved through seduction. Some are
influenced or initiated by friends who are already in
the séx trade and have contacts and connections in high
places , where women are ready to exchange cash for
pleasure. “I was introduced to lésbianism when I was in
secondary school.
I was in a boarding school in Benin, EDO STATE” says
one of the lésbian prostítutes who introduced
P.M.NEWS team into the strange world of lésbian
prostitutíon in Nigeria’s most populous city. Now a
student at the University of Ado Ekiti, the Edo State
indigene, shuttles between campus and clubs, hotel
rooms or sleek houses in Lagos most weekends to have
séx with rich women. “I have to be in Lagos on
weekends because that’s where the business pays well.
Sometimes, I travel to Port Harcourt, but most times,
I come Lagos. “I already know how it works here in
Lagos. I have a lot of contacts in the strip clubs and I
have a lot girls who are into the business and they
refer women to me. But it is better to meet the woman
yourself because if she is rich, the other girl will not
refer you to her, she will take her herself,” she says.
During an outing in Lagos four weeks ago, she
remembered with nostalgia, how a rich man once
approached her for his shy wife and paid her big money.
“She was shy, she told me. She wanted a girl that night
but she could not come to the strip club and her
husband picked me for her. “The husband left us in the
room upstairs. He was having some drinks downstairs
and watching TV.
He later came when we were almost done and gave her
a peck. He asked her if I was good. She didn’t answer.
She just gave him a peck and smiled,” she said. She
admitted that sometimes, she services men, but added,
“It’s better to do it with a girl. She knows how to make
you come and she cannot transmit diseases to you.”
There are also risks, she admitted. She remembered
how she was approached by “one rich woman with a
British accent. “I agreed to follow her. However, when
we got home, there were two other ladies waiting for
me. She did not tell me I would be having séx with
three women. But I had no choice. I was already there
and I did it.
I just renegotiated the amount,” she said. This new
trend of prostítution is fast spreading among
teenagers, but is not restricted to them. The high and
mighty in the society are involved. Other less fortunate
in life are also involved in their level. Tribe or religion is
no barrier. P.M.NEWS was introduced to some lésbian
prostítutes who claimed to be Muslims and others said
they are Christians.
There were also others, who perhaps, due to the
effect of alcohol, did not know which religion they
practice. Unlike the ordinary séx trade between men
and women, those involved in the trade said they do not
stand by the roadside to meet patrons. Patrons and
séx workers usually meet in some of the strip clubs in
Lagos, exchange contacts or leave straightaway for
their escapades.
Rich women are involved mainly for pleasure while the
workers are in it for money. “It’s about connection. One
person introduces “one person to another and it goes
round. They are able to identify themselves through
compliments like;oh! I love your legs. You have sweet
b00bs. You look beautiful,’” another lésbian prostítute
told P.M.NEWS in a strip club during the investigation.
She added: “They also wink and look seductively at you.
If they get a good response from you, then they know
they are with the right person.” She says some possess
a high level of courage. “They can walk up to any lady
they find attractive as long as the environment is safe
for them.” Other prostítutes argued that society
women in Lagos who are involved in the trade are very
caring. “Especially if they find you interesting, in the
sense that if you are able to make them reach orgasm.
They will give you a special treatment such as take you
for shopping and keep you as partner even after séx.
They can then buy you a car or rent you an apartment,”
one of the séx workers said, echoing what was heard
from others in their business.
The payment for services rendered is determined by
quality service offered by the prostítute. “It could be
sucking their private part or the ability to creatively
use your hands to please them,” a séx worker said. The
excellent use of vibrators and a good massage can put
one worker at an advantage position. The fees start
from N15000 a night and can reach N100,000 in some
cases.
The amount dwarfs by far what is paid by men, which
starts from N1000 or N2000 depending on the area.
The ghettos are no exception to the trade but the
price is relatively poor, it was discovered. It varies
between N2000 and N5000. One séx worker
explained that even though the trade is based on
connections and recommendations, there are special
places where it is easy to get hooked with lésbians.
Beauty salon, luxurious hotels, swimming pools and
expensive shopping malls were mentioned. Married
women are also involved.
They woo girls in need of money, including their friends’
daughters. Married women in the trade claim that their
husbands are either not good enough in bed or too busy
to attend to their séxual needs. “They tell me their
husbands do not satisfy them or are too busy and they
can’t cheat with another man without being suspected,”
a worker told P.M.NEWS.
“The
good thing about it is that men cannot suspect them.
Any woman can hang out with them and men are not
bothered,” a séx worker said. Some women, the
prostítute explained, invite two girls to satisfy them.
The root of this new dimension of prostítution can be
traced to “only-girls” boarding schools. Young innocent
girls in such schools are lured into the act by older
girls, most time through bullying. During this
investigation, our correspondents interviewed dozens
of séx workers mainly at strip clubs and attended a
get together by lésbians and biséxuals.

One-Legged Robber Who Rapes and Kills His Female Victims Arrested

  The delta state police has
arrested a 21-year-old
disabled robbery suspect,
John Okue in a hair salon
in Okwashi-Uku, following
a tip off.
The one-legged robber, who
lost his leg to a virus, led the gang of other armed
robbers whose ages ranged from about 17 to 25 years.
They were said to have robbed, killed and raped their
female victims with impunity.
Apparently the gang was said to be highly connected to
top police officers in the state so when any member of
the gang was arrested and detained, his freedom was
often obtained.
It was reliably gathered that at a point when the police
wanted to apprehend him in his home in Kwale, he
escaped while he disguised as a beggar. The police
officers detailed to track him down saw him but never
knew he was the suspect they were looking for.
This hide and seek game between the police and the
armed robbery suspect continued for several weeks as
he became elusive until recently when the gang leader
was apprehended in a barbing saloon at Ogwashi-Uku
following a tip-off.
Police sources said confessional statement by the gang
leader led to the arrest of other members at
different locations.
They are being detained at the State Criminal
Investigation Department (SCID) Asaba.
Among dangerous weapons recovered from the gang
were battle axe, pump action, rifles, shot guns and AK
47 rifles.

politician from southern
Colombia had to have his
pénis amputated after he
allegedly overdosed on
Víagra, an érection drug
to impress his girlfriend.
The 66-year-old man from Giganté, Colombia, whose

that he intentionally overdosed on the érectile
dysfunction medicine. He was then said to have
suffered an érection for several days before being
forced to seek medical advice.
When he sought medical help, he was told that his
only option was amputation as his pénis was already
inflamed and fracturéd.
However, a doctor told local newspaper that 'The
patient showed bruising on the testicles and pénis, was
treated and is recovering well.'
As a result of the incident, Néiva hospital issued a
warning for men to not use pénis enhancing drugs or
érectile dysfunctíon medication without préscription

Blackberry in $4.7bn takeover deal with Fairfax

 Struggling
smartphone maker
Blackberry has
agreed in principle
to be bought by a
consortium led by
Fairfax Financial
for $4.7bn (£3bn).
Blackberry said in
statement that
Fairfax, its largest
shareholder with
about 10% of the stock, had offered $9 a share in cash
to buy the company.
Trading in Blackberry shares was temporarily halted in
New York pending the announcement.
On Friday, Blackberry announced 4,500 jobs cuts in a
bid to stem losses.
The Canadian company said it expected to make a loss
of up to $1bn after poor sales of its new handsets. In
August, Blackberry said it was evaluating a possible
sale.
On Friday, the company announced that it had "signed a
letter of intent agreement under which a consortium to
be led by Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited has
offered to acquire the company subject to due
diligence".
The statement continued: "Diligence is expected to be
complete by November 4, 2013. The parties' intention
is to negotiate and execute a definitive transaction
agreement by such date."
However, Blackberry said it was not in exclusive talks
with Fairfax and would continue to "actively solicit,
receive, evaluate and potentially enter into
negotiations" with other potential buyers.
Canadian billionaire Prem Watsa, Fairfax's chairman
and chief executive, said: "We believe this transaction
will open an exciting new private chapter for
Blackberry, its customers, carriers and employees.
"We can deliver immediate value to shareholders, while
we continue the execution of a long-term strategy in a
private company with a focus on delivering superior and
secure enterprise solutions to Blackberry customers
around the world."
'End game'
Brian Colello, analyst at Morningstar, said that taking
Blackberry private would allow the company to
reorganise without being under the glare of Wall
Street investors.
He said: "Based on the company's disastrous earnings
warning on Friday, I think a deal had to happen and the
sooner the better. This is probably the only out for
investors and the most likely outcome.
"The benefit to this sort of takeover is the ability for
Blackberry and the consortium to reinvent the company
without public scrutiny. It appears that the end game is
going to be whether Blackberry can emerge as a niche
supplier of highly-secured phones to enterprise
customers and governments."
Ben Wood, chief of research at CCS Insight, also said
that a deal with Fairfax would give Blackberry
breathing space assess its strategic options.
"Early indications suggest a retrenchment to the
business market. Wider structural changes such as
spinning off Blackberry Messenger and cutting back on
hardware are also likely be carefully reviewed."
Blackberry's financial problems came to a head this
year following disappointing sales of its new Z10 model
smartphone.
Released in January - after many delays - the phone
has failed to enthuse consumers.
Over the summer, word trickled out the company had
hired a series of advisers to help it explore options.

Blackberry device
to access its BBM
messaging service.
Blackberry has
confirmed BBM will
be available as a free
download for Apple
and Android devices
but not for Windows
phones.
The move comes as the Wall Street Journal reports
that Blackberry will lay off 40% of its staff before
2014.
Widening the appeal of BBM could be a clever way for
the company to reinvent itself, said experts.
"Blackberry is having a tough time, sales are down, it is
losing market to Windows phones and it needs to do
something to stop the rot. This is as good a move as
any," said Chris Green, principal technology analyst at
Davies Murphy Group Europe.
"Offering it across other platforms broadens the
appeal of BBM," he added.
BBM will be available for Android devices running Ice
Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean while iPhones running
iOS 6 or iOS 7 can also download it. It will be available
for Android from Saturday and for iOS from Sunday.
"With more than a billion Android, iOS and Blackberry
smartphones in the market, and no dominant mobile
messaging platform this is absolutely the right time to
bring BBM to Android and iPhone customers," said
Andrew Bocking, vice-president for BBM in a blogpost.
Reinventing itself
BBM has been described as Blackberry's "crown
jewels" and the service hit a chord with a mass
consumer audience.
Offering it to a wider public will not make any money
for the company.
"It could even cost it money," said Mr Green.
"The firm is having to reinvent itself and whether that
will be by focusing on software, monetising BBM,
licensing its products or joint ventures is not yet clear.
At the moment it is throwing everything out there,"
said Mr Green.
Blackberry chief executive Thorsten Heins revealed
the plan at the company's annual developers
conference in May.
At the time, Mr Heins said that the move was a
"statement of confidence" and would allow Blackberry
Messenger to "become an independent multi-platform
messaging solution".
It could prove disruptive to other messaging services
such as Skype and Whatsapp.

ASUU Vows To Continue Strike, Blames Rot In Nigerian Universities On NUC

 The Academic Staff Union
of Universities (ASUU)
has blamed the rot in the
Nigerian education on the
Executive Secretary of
the National University
Commission, Julius Okojie,
saying his failure to insist
on quality is affected the system.
The lecturers also vowed to carry on with the strike
action unless the federal government consents to the
2009 agreement it had with the union.
In a statement signed by its University of Ibadan
branch chairman, Olusegun Ajiboye, ASUU renewed its
call for the scraping or a total overhaul of the
regulatory institution if the nation wishes to get it right
in university education management.
While calling on the National Assembly to look in to the
activities of the NUC, Mr. Ajiboye said the recent
NEEDS assessment report on universities reflects how
much the commission has failed in its duties as a
regulator.
According to him, the report undertaken by genuine
academics contradicts NUC’s accreditation exercises
which gave ‘controversial’ clean bill of health to most
universities through “magomago accreditation.”
The union contended that only in a society like ours
would Mr. Okojie still remain in office after being
heavily indicted in the report.
Mr. Okojie had, last week, absorbed his commission of
any wrongdoing in the rot plaguing public universities in
the country, particularly as regards undeserved
accreditation, blaming members of the ASUU instead.
Mr. Ajiboye, who described the statement credited to
the NUC boss as ‘careless’, accused Mr. Okojie of using
his cronies who can do his biddings to embark on
accreditation.
He said the success of the 2011 elections was based on
the patriotic zeal and contributions of genuine and
patriotic ASUU members nationwide saying that was
why the election was free of hanky-panky recorded in
past elections.

''I Wanted To Be A Reverend Sister Before BBA'' - Beverly Osu Reveals

  Big Brother Africa 2013
finalist, Beverly Osu who
represented Nigeria and
became one of the most
talked-about housemate
has now revealed that
being controversial has
never been her goal.
In a recent interview on Abuja, she talks about life
before the house and what her future plans her.
Read Excerpts:
Life before Big Brother:
Before Big Brother, I was into entertainment. Big
Brother Africa was just a platform for me to do what
I wanted to do. Before now, I wanted to be an actress,
I wanted to be a reverend sister, but things did not
just work out the way I planned it.
Being a controversial housemate:
Going to the house, I didn’t have any plan or strategy. I
just went in there. While in the house, I used to be
blunt every time, it used to be me living my normal life.
The controversial side, I don’t know because I used to
be a very sweet person.
On how she was never up for eviction:
I didn’t do anything. I know that people picked my name
but I wasn’t bothered because I also got to pick one or
two people. I knew when Natasha or anybody else
picked me for eviction but I understood it was just a
game. However, I was generally liked in the house
because I’m a people’s person.
On her relationship with Angelo
Me and Angelo were so business minded people, we
think alike, we do a lot of things together. We have
projects we are working on together so, it was much
like we went to BBA as individuals but we didn’t come
there to mark time. And now, we have a platform we
have to use. Now, he is in his country but when there is
something to do, we will go together. It is not that we
won’t have our time but it’s more of the business
because we all came for something in our lives and
since we have gotten the opportunity, we should use it
right.
Her future plans:
School, my career-acting, so many things in next year
let me feel I’m not sure what to say next because my

My Mother Wants Me To Have Séx

  I'm 28, female,
heteroséxual, and have
never had séx. For 12 years,
my best friend has been a
guy, but I've never felt any
desire to take things
further. I've never dated
anyone because I am very
shy. My mother seems unable to understand why we
are not dating or to accept that a man and a woman can
simply be friends. She has told me to either date him
or stop being friends with him, because she thinks
having him around convinces people that I'm taken.
After speaking to him about it, he confessed that he
never made any kind of move because I never showed
any interest. He knows I want to one day marry and
have kids and he doesn't want any of that. I feel like an
ass for always assuming he just wasn't interested in
me but it doesn't make thinking about anything séxual
any easier.
To stop my mother from talking about him, I told her
about a friend who lives across the country with whom
I became intimate last time he was here, but didn't
have séx with. He is coming here for a holiday in two
weeks and my mother is putting pressure on me to stop
being afraid and have séx with him. I'm not ashamed of
being 28 and a vírgin, but I'm getting the impression
my mum is. Even if I do have séx, I'm not comfortable
telling my mother it happened, but I don't want her
constantly questioning me.

SEE NIGERIA’S MILLIONAIRE STUDENT FRAUDSTERS

  Before he met his waterloo
some months ago, 30-year-old
Hope Olusegun Aroke lived in
the elite 1004 Housing Estate,
Victoria Island, Lagos. Aroke,
an undergraduate in a
Malaysian university, had the
world at his beck and call, as
he could afford just about anything that meant class. For
him, provision was probably just another successful scam
away. And the race to maintain the social status that
fraud had allegedly earned him could never end. In his
garage was a fleet of posh cars and SUVs, all of
Mercedes-Benz brand. Though a tenant, he successfully
outshone the status of his co-residents. To many, the
young man had done well for himself by a dint of hard
work. In some sense, Aroke was working hard, but as a
suspected serial scammer. His busy neighbours barely
noticed his unusual schedule, but many were irked by his
exceptional flamboyant lifestyle. Most times, when
neighbours were out to work, Aroke stayed indoor in
company with other young men, who were later discovered
to be his fraud cell suspects.
These young men included his apprentices and internet
scam partners. The operation that marred Aroke’s
merry-making living would have shot up his net worth by
several notches. Going by the revelation of the Economic
and Financial Crimes Commission, he had successfully
carried out the scam operations worth N55m on
unsuspecting members of the public. He, however,
became unfortunate while trying to conceal the nature of
the proceeds by converting it to foreign currency in
partnership with Ibrahim Tafida, a Bureau de Change
operator. He was eventually nabbed by the team of the
EFCC in Lagos. Last year, 25-year-old Sunkanmi Odewale,
a 200-level undergraduate of Mechanical Engineering,
Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, a suspected
fraudster, breezed into an automart and bought a Toyota
Venza for N4m. Before, he was picked up in Ibadan, Oyo
State, three months ago, he was alleged to be notorious
for regularly swindling unsuspecting members of the
public via the internet. His N4m Toyota Venza was the
latest of his collections of luxury toys allegedly acquired
from the proceeds of cyber crimes. He, however,
forfeited it and other valuables worth millions, whichi
were seized during the arrest.
The EFCC said he was currently facing prosecution. Other
kingpins in cyber crime in Ibadan, Oyo State, according to
EFCC, are 300 level students, Olowofola Tolu and
Ekundayo Damilola, both of Lead City University, Ibadan.
They are studying Economics and Computer Sciences
respectively. They were alleged to be the brains behind
successful cyber crimes in the state before they were
arrested around Oluyole Estate extension in Ibadan. Both
of them made good money from the business such that
they paraded exotic cars among other things. Other boys
believed to hold the area in terms of cyber crimes
operations and training of intending members according to
EFCC are Adelabu Kolawole, HND II student of
Purchasing and Supply Department, Ibadan Polytechnic
and Bankole Fisayo, Ordinary Diploma II student of
Marketing Department, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
Their valuables running into tens of millions of naira were
seized by the EFCC, which said that they were all being
prosecuted. Investigation revealed that more young
people particularly undergraduates, now have the
wherewithal to afford luxury items such as exotic cars,
live in hotels for weeks, buy classy homes and throw lavish
parties where expensive brands of wines and spirits are
offered. They also travel to choice countries of the world
and frolic with the hottest girls in town. They live in such
affluence that will make an average worker with decades
of meritorious service cringe. WE learnt that usually, they
are undergraduates, predominantly young men enrolled to
study different courses in both Nigerian and foreign
tertiary institutions.
These undergraduate scammers and internet fraudsters
are the current toast of their various campuses. Their
friends, course mates and distant admirers, especially
the ladies, all wish to grab a portion of their well-
advertised wealth. Using the internet and other
information and communication, these savvy youths, often
successfully dupe greedy people. Laptops, mobile
telephones, flash drives, external hard drives, printers
and so on, are their work implements. Since they usually
don’t operate from an identifiable office or from fixed
residential addresses, they cart away many people’s
financial fortunes forever without pointing a gun or being
physically present. They operate most times through a
network of connections across country borders, making it
possible for a person to fall victim at any location.
Investigation revealed that the colony of internet
fraudsters, also known as Yahoo Yahoo, is growing to
match the dynamism in information and communication
technology. This also poses greater challenge to crime
detecting agencies in Nigeria such as the EFCC. During
some sting operations based on internet-prompted
information, the EFCC recently arrested another five
suspected fraudsters in Enugu State. They are: 27-year-
old Uche Nwakor; 30-year-old Oluchukwu Ejikeme; 28-
year-old Ifeanyi Ejikeme; 30-year-old Nnamani
Ikechukwu; and Ibe Kodili.
They were arrested at their expensive houses at No 26
and 42, Chimaobi Uba Street, GRA, Enugu. The team is
said to be “serial scammers,” having defrauded several
victims. Items seized from them where they were
perfecting how to get the next victim are: eight exotic
cars, nine laptops, 21 mobile phones, internet routers,
drivers’ licenses and international passports. Two months
ago, the game was over for notorious internet fraudster,
Wale Olaide, who specialised in defrauding members of
the public through bank credit alerts. Popularly called
Wale Dollar in his clique, he had great tentacles as his
business transversed the shores of Nigeria. Although he
had successfully executed bigger deals, which had earned
him a comfortable life, he came crashing over a N5m deal
involving two brothers Abdulhamid Abubakar, based in
Nigeria and Hashim Abubakar based in Togo.
They are both into BDC business. Under the pretext that
he wanted to do genuine business with them, he contacted
the Togo-based operator, asking for his Nigerian bank
account number, which he authorised his brother to give
him. Olaide was supposed to pay in N5m to purchase the
CFA Francs equivalent. But when he got the account
details, rather than send the money as agreed, he sent a
false credit alert notifying the BDC operators that his
account had credited at the Seme border branch and so
he released the equivalent to him. He was shocked to find
out the next day that his bankers couldn’t trace such
payments made into his account. The EFCC said it took
investigative initiative to arrest Olaide, who it described
as “a member of the deadly syndicate involved in duping
unsuspecting members of the public.” It described
fraudulent credit banking notification as a new trend in
criminality by fraudsters and warned the public to be
careful. The EFCC Ag. Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson
Uwujaren, told Saturday PUNCH that it was not in the
character of fraudsters to buy lands or build houses.
He said, “They seldom even buy houses or have permanent
addresses because of the nature of their activities. They
often spend money on exotic cars, throw parties and
generally squander the money on things that are not
fixed. All the people arrested for such crimes are usually
made to face the law.” Uwujaren said there were signs
that could put one on the guard. “If for instance
somebody you have never met in person begins to pester
you about your personal banking details online, chances
are that the person may be a potential scammer. “Also
when a total stranger begins to make business proposal
that look too good to be true, you better watch it,” he
said. He said a good number of scammers had been
prosecuted and jailed; others had to flee the country to
neighbouring countries.
He however said that there was still more work to be
done. He said EFCC’s conviction profile was dominated by
internet and advance fee fraud cases, adding that the
Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offenses Act
2006 prescribed a minimum of seven and maximum of 20
years jail term for advance fee fraud offenses. He
admitted that scammers were mainly youngsters but not
limited to any social strata and educational backgrounds.
An inside source, who understands the mode of operation
of internet fraudsters told our correspondent that the
commission depended mainly on raids until it had a
breakthrough in technology. The EFCC source, who
preferred to remain anonymous, said the technology
called Eagle Claw, was designed by a young Nigerian, who
landed in the EFCC net after he was deported from India
some years ago for successfully hacking the country’s
military website.
He said the commission employed his services to help it
understand the workings of internet fraudsters and he
eventually designed a technology with some programmed
language that sniffs and detects mails suspected to be
from fraudsters. “Once our technology sniffs those
codes, the mail is hijacked and we start investigation
from there. “Under the former administration, EFCC was
able to arrest 2,000 internet scammers using Eagle Claw;
it runs like a laboratory. “There was a case when our team
of investigators acted like a ‘white man’ (prospective
victim) and we kept communicating with the fraudster
until we fixed the Abuja Sheraton Hotel as meeting point
and he simply walked into a net. “There are other
technologies that we are using to combat cyber crimes as
they evolve.” On their mode of operation and recruitment
procedures, the source said they operate in cells
(splinter groups) and each cell has a leader, who trains
the new entrants.
He said the apprentices usually lived with their leaders in
big mansions, where they served them, while undergoing
the rudiments of the game. He said gone were the days
when fraudsters used the cyber café, because of the
fear of being raided, adding that they now operate from
homes, which makes it difficult to arrest them, except by
intelligence report. He added that the advent of private
use of the internet through modems and other ISP
channels had made it difficult to trace scammers without
an up to date technology.
He said that members of the public could identify a
fraudster by some traits, even though they operate by
nick names. “If you see young people living in questionable
affluence today and appear broke tomorrow. “If he
offers to sell his N5m car to you at N1.5m and the next
week he has a bigger car, suspect him. Most times when
they don’t have a victim to milk, they run out of cash and
quickly sell their valuables to continue to live big. “If the
same young man stays at home when people should be at
work, hosting several girls in his apartment, watch him.
“If he usually moves with some other group of young men,
who most likely stay the night in his apartment and having
so many ICT gadgets, watch him.” He however said that
what is important is for members of the public to be
careful and not to be given to greed, as some well-
educated people and even top government officials had at
some time, fallen prey to them. Asked if it is true that
Yahoo plus brand (charm-backed) assisted the
fraudsters in their criminal activities, he said, “I don’t
believe that they charm people, I think they are just
internet smart people who work with technology to
people’s disadvantage.”

Eedris Abubakar begged for sex says cossy orjiakor

They mountéd a stage for a
scíntillating performance.
Cossy performed her "wicked"
lap dance for him, a very
tempting one. She said that
after she did wonders to him
on stage, the singer could not
contain himself. Once they
were off the stage, the guy went on his kneels, begging
her for a "quick one".
Trust Cossy, she exposed everything and even mentioned
the musician's name:
“Oga Eedris knelt down and started begging me. Well,
please don’t blame oga Eedris, that dance would make any
man beg for the real show."
You may wish to know that Cossy and Eedris Abdulkareem
actually performed on one stage few weeks ago and her
outfit on the stage alone was enough temptation, not to
talk of the lap dance. Lolz!
Anyway, Cossy said she refused to grant access to
the Nigeria Jagajaga singer and the guy was sad.

The Shocking Way You Can Contract HIV

  Have you ever wondered
what it would be like if
mosquitoes spread HIV the
way they spread malaria;
millions of people will
definitely lose their lives on
daily basis, particularly in
developing countries like
Nigeria where mosquitoes are endemic.
Before now, there have been reports about concern of
the possibility of mosquitoes transmitting AIDS (Acquired
Immune Deficiency Syndrome) when the disease was first
recognized and many people still feel that mosquitoes may
be responsible for transmission of this infection from one
individual to another.
However, Entomologists say that although mosquitoes
function the same way as hypodermic needles – they can
both inject chemicals and extract blood but cannot
transmit HIV.
According to a former Navy Entomologist and Current
Technical Advisor for the American Mosquito Control
Association, Joe Conlon explains; “If mosquitoes carry
West Nile Virus and other blood-borne diseases,
shouldn’t they logically be able to transmit HIV, too? It
is definitely not a stupid question, but that is not the case.
Mosquitoes can not transmit HIV.
Conlon reassured that first of all, when a mosquito bites
you, it draws your blood into its gut. Acids there kill the
HIV virus.
“Even if the mosquito’s stomach acids did not render the
virus harmless, it would not be able to get back out of the
insect.
That is because mosquitoes use two different tubes to
suck up blood and to inject you with saliva that stops your
blood from clotting up while it’s drinking. Even if a
mosquito had virus-containing blood from another human
inside it, the blood would never exit the bug through its
salivary glands and into your blood stream.
“For a mosquito to transmit a disease, it must pick up the
virus. The virus has to survive in the gut and then get
outside the gut into the body cavity and then eventually
into the salivary glands to be injected into something
else. It is a very complicated process, and with HIV, it
just doesn’t happen,” he explained.
Malaria parasites, on the other hand, are able to grow in
the mosquito gut, then, migrate specifically to the salivary
glands to continue their lifecycle in another human.
Reasons
Mosquitoes’ mouth parts do not operate like a hypodermic
needle. The tube which injects the host with saliva is
separate from the canal which the mosquito uses to suck
blood from the same host. Therefore blood only flows
into the mosquito and only saliva is injected; blood is not
flushed out of the same canal.
Insect-borne diseases like Encephalitis and malaria are
spread because they multiply within the mosquito, these
diseases then move into the insect’s salivary glands and
are injected into the host with the saliva. If a mosquito
feeds on an HIV-positive person the virus cannot survive
and replicate within the mosquito’s gut as HIV requires
specialist cells found only in humans in order to multiply.
HIV circulates in the blood at lower levels than malaria
and other inset-borne diseases. The mosquito does not
take enough units of HIV from the infected person to
initiate infection.
Even if it was possible for the mosquito to inject HIV into
an uninfected person, the person would have to be bitten
by 10 million mosquitoes who had previously been feeding
on an HIV positive host in order to receive one unit of
HIV.

YORUBA Man Sent To Prison For Rāping His Neighbour's 6 Year Old Daughter

   An Abeokuta Chief
Magistrate’s Court sitting in
Isabo Area has ordered a 42-
year-old man identified as
Sanmi Oyewole, to be
remanded in prison custody for
allegedly rāping his neighbour’s
six-yearold daughter.
Oyewole was said to have committed the offence on
August 24 at 16 Ayedi Street, Isale-Ake, Abeokuta.
When the accused was arraigned in court, the magistrate,
Mr. Anthony Araba, ordered that he be remanded in Oba
prison within Obafemi Owode Local Government Area till
September 9.
The police prosecutor, Paul Etusi, an Assistant
Superintendent of Police, said the accused lured the
victim into his room to watch cartoon films and later
forcefully defiled her
“Oyewole, who was said to be fond of the little girl, was
seen by a neighbour who heard the girl’s cry as she
attracted the attention of others and the victim’s
parents, even as the accused was caught on top of the
girl,” the prosecutor said.
The police prosecutor further stated that the offence
contravened Section 218 of the Criminal Code Law of
Ogun, 2006. Represented by his counsel, Mr. Adeyemi
Adebayo, the Magistrate however, did not take plea of
the accused before adjourning the case to September 9
for further hearing.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State Police Command said no fewer
than 12 suspected cult members have been arrested in
Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO; Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi
who disclosed this in Abeokuta said items recovered
included guns, live cartridges, Indian hemp and assorted
charms.
He also said the arrest followed various complaints from
the public and intelligence report from the State
Intelligence Bureau, SIB, of the command.
“The proximity of Ogijo to Ikorodu has made it a
commercial nerve centre with numerous illegal activities
which have been of great concern to the command”.
“On Saturday, some teams of police detectives, led by
the DPO Ogijo Division, Toyin Afolaogun swooped on the
cultists and arrested 12 belonging to various groups”.
terrorising people in the area. “The command is ready to
sanitise the area and get rid of miscreants and cultists so
that innocent citizens or those on transit will be
adequately protected.
The suspects will soon appear in court after thorough
investigations.”
“The command has been duly informed of the dangerous
activities of the cultists who have been

Chelsea In Shock As Eden Hazard Blown With Achile Injury

Chelsea were hit with an injury
scare on Tuesday afternoon
when Eden Hazard was forced
out of training with the Belgium
squad with an achilles problem.
The forward had told his
national team’s doctors that he
had been struggling with pain in his achilles for the past
two to three weeks.
Silverware is the goal: Hazard is a key player for
Chelsea's title chase this season
Sweat: Mourinho knows Hazard's absence will be a big
blow for Chelsea
They set him running, but after an initial assessment
decided that he should pull out of the rest of training.
Belgian officials still expect him to play a part of their
World Cup qualifier against Scotland on Friday but are
carefully managing the injury.
With Belgium sat top of their group and in a good place to
qualify for Rio next summer it is unlikely they will unduly
risk him. A serious achilles tear would end his season.
Short-term: Midfielder Moses joined Liverpool on loan on
deadline day
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has insisted that young
forwards Romelu Lukaku and Victor Moses are in his long-
term plans despite allowing allowing the pair to leave on
loan for the season to Everton and Liverpool respectively.
‘I think its time for everyone to stop thinking about selling
and buying players,’ the Blues boss told Chelsea TV.
‘There are always little things to do on the last day,
people to leave. We have to think about the club but we
also have to think about what is best for the players
individually.
For now: Lukaku has also gone on loan to Everton, but
Mourinho has attempeted to justify the moves
‘We decided Moses and Lukaku - two players we were
more than happy to keep - that it’s better for the club
and the future of the players if they go on loan.
‘With Lukaku, we have Fernando, Eto’o and Demba. Of
course he would get playing time, but it’s the choice of
playing basically every weekend.
‘He had lots of clubs and options, and we have to respect
his decision.’
