YORUBA Man Sent To Prison For Rāping His Neighbour's 6 Year Old Daughter

Magistrate’s Court sitting in
Isabo Area has ordered a 42-
year-old man identified as
Sanmi Oyewole, to be
remanded in prison custody for
allegedly rāping his neighbour’s
six-yearold daughter.
Oyewole was said to have committed the offence on
August 24 at 16 Ayedi Street, Isale-Ake, Abeokuta.
When the accused was arraigned in court, the magistrate,
Mr. Anthony Araba, ordered that he be remanded in Oba
prison within Obafemi Owode Local Government Area till
September 9.
The police prosecutor, Paul Etusi, an Assistant
Superintendent of Police, said the accused lured the
victim into his room to watch cartoon films and later
forcefully defiled her
“Oyewole, who was said to be fond of the little girl, was
seen by a neighbour who heard the girl’s cry as she
attracted the attention of others and the victim’s
parents, even as the accused was caught on top of the
girl,” the prosecutor said.
The police prosecutor further stated that the offence
contravened Section 218 of the Criminal Code Law of
Ogun, 2006. Represented by his counsel, Mr. Adeyemi
Adebayo, the Magistrate however, did not take plea of
the accused before adjourning the case to September 9
for further hearing.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State Police Command said no fewer
than 12 suspected cult members have been arrested in
Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO; Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi
who disclosed this in Abeokuta said items recovered
included guns, live cartridges, Indian hemp and assorted
charms.
He also said the arrest followed various complaints from
the public and intelligence report from the State
Intelligence Bureau, SIB, of the command.
“The proximity of Ogijo to Ikorodu has made it a
commercial nerve centre with numerous illegal activities
which have been of great concern to the command”.
“On Saturday, some teams of police detectives, led by
the DPO Ogijo Division, Toyin Afolaogun swooped on the
cultists and arrested 12 belonging to various groups”.

Man claims to be JESUS

A man, who claims to be Jesus,
was running around threatening
other people with a crowbar.
The Florida man, who claims to
be Jesus Christ, chose not to
turn the other cheek, and
instead, threatened his
neighbor with an iron rod, police said.
Kenneth David Peterson, 51, said the neighbor in question
is the Antichrist, police said.
Palm Bay police investigated a report of a disturbance
between two men on Thursday.
When they arrived, Peterson reportedly professed to be
Jesus and threatened the neighbor with the iron rod and
another type of weapon.
He was charged with aggravated assault, harassment, and
is being held in the Brevard County Jail on bail of
$150,000.
The police have made nine visits to his home since
February in reports that he was damaging the property
of a neighbor. 

Woman Tortured And Murdered Husband, Then Boiled Him In Pressure Cooker

  A woman in China allegedly
murdered her husband and
boiled his body in a pressure
cooker before reportedly
handing herself into police.
The accused allegedly drugged
her second husband and
tortured him for three days by withholding food and
water, according to a report on government-backed news
portal Anhui News.
It was reported that the man had allegedly abused the
woman and her daughter.
After allegedly beating the man to death, the wife
reportedly dismembered his body with a saw and boiled
parts in a pressure cooker to cover her tracks.
It is not known how she disposed of the cooked flesh.
The woman is believed to have turned herself into police
due to the psychological stress of the alleged crime,
which caused her to lose more than 6kg in weight.
A police officer in Anhui province’s Lu’an City, where the
man died, confirmed the case to the AFP news agency but
declined to give further details.

alleged involvement in the rǻpe saga.
He said: “One Mrs. Margret Elom, was robbed of her
N50, 000 and one motorcycle with nine different cell
phones. In the process of robbing the woman, two of
her daughters were rǻped by the hoodlums at gun
point.
“When the matter was reported to the police, the
command was able to arrest one of the suspects, Mr.
Chidi Eze, who was later arraigned in the Magistrate’s
Court 2 sitting in Abakaliki on August13, 2013. “Based
on the statement given by the suspect, the police went
in search of the man, who was identified as Hon. Ogba
Sunday, the vicechairman of Ikwo Local Government
Area.
“We got him arrested, but in his statement to the
police, he said it was a frame up and that it was
politically motivated. “We are still investigating the
case, after which, if we discovered that he was set up,
we will set him free. But if it is true that he committed
the act, he will be taken to court where he can defend
himself,” he said.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that Governor Martin
Elechi was interested in the rǻpe case and had invited
the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Dikko Maigari, for
further briefing on the matter. A source close to the
governor, who did not want his name mentioned, said
the image of Ikwo Local Government Area, the home
town of Elechi, is at stake, adding that the governor
would take a drastic action to see that justice is
served. 

Man contracts HIV after raping. a HIV positive woman

 A man who has been jailed for
rǻping a woman has been told
that he could have contracted
HIV as a result of the attack
he inflicted upon his victim.
Richard Thomas, 27, collapsed
when police informed him about
the woman's medical status and is still waiting to hear if
he has contracted the incurable virus.
Thomas, of Leigh in Greater Manchester, knew the woman
and was aware that she has another illness but had not
known about the HIV.
The court heard he was shocked when he was told and
asked to be taken to hospital, Liverpool Crown Court
heard.
He had let himself into her home in the middle of the night
and she awoke to find him rǻping her.
'She froze and no words were exchanged. He pulled up
his shorts and left,' said Harry Pepper, prosecuting.
'He was arrested and interviewed and said he had been
drinking heavily, taken cocaine and ecstasy and could not
recall the incident,' he added.
His barrister, Virginia Hayton, said that he still cannot
recall the attack but when told about it he said that the
woman 'would not lie, she tells the truth. If she says I
have done it, I have done it'.
Jailing Thomas for five years and four months Judge
Mark Brown said that he had committed 'this dreadful
offence' while she lay asleep, having taken a sleeping
tablet, and it had left her distressed and anxious.

woman on July 20 this year.
Miss Hayton said that Thomas, who has previous
convictions but none for sexual offences, is 'remorseful'

She said that he started using cannabis at the age of nine,
drinking heavily at the age of 11, became addicted to

daughters from previous relationships.
Miss Hayton told the court that Thomas will not find out
the result of his HIV test until Friday and has had the
worry of the outcome hanging over him.
'It is his own fault, if he had not committed this offence
he would not have placed himself in this position.'

Chief Medical Director, District Head Killed By Gunmen In Bauchi

The Chief Medical Director of

the Federal Medical Centre,

Azare, in Bauchi State, has

been shot and killed by armed

gunmen on Saturday, police

said.

The Public Relations Officer of

the Bauchi State Police Command, Hassan Mohammed,

confirmed the incident on Sunday.

The FMC chief, Musa Mohammed, was shot and killed,

along with Muhammadu Manu, the District Head of Yame

Community in the Dambam Local Government Area of

Bauchi State.

“Mohammed along with Alhaji Manu was shot dead in Yame

town at around 10.30 p.m. on Saturday,” he said.

The police spokesman said investigation into the killings

had begun, but added that no arrest had been made.

The late medical practitioner was ambushed on the

Azare-Dambam road by the suspected assailants, who

took him to Yame town before killing him and the district

head.

Until his appointment as the CMD of the centre, Mr.

Mohammed was Chairman of the Bauchi State Primary

Healthcare Development Agency.

Man Kidnaps Self, Demands N2million Ransom From Brothers

Ani after he allegedly
“kidnapped himself” and
demanded N2 million ransom
from his brothers.
Samuel saw his own kidnap as
the quickest way of getting financial assistance from his
brothers, who he labeled “stingy fellows”.
However, it has ended up badly for the coffin dealer, an
indigene of Ugwuaji, Enugu South Local Government Area.
It was gathered that he faked kidnap and hid himself for
six days at a bush behind his shop situated at Gariki axis
of Awkunanaw also in Enugu South, from where he was
making telephone calls to his two younger brothers in a
very convincing tone that he had been abducted and that
the sum of N2 million was required to get him out of the
purported kidnappers den, else he would be killed.
The spokesman of the police in Enugu State, Ebere
Amaraizu, DSP, who confirmed the incident disclosed that
the case was reported to the State Police Command,
which mobilized its anti- kidnapping unit.
According to him, “when Samuel intensified his call that
the purported kidnappers were on the verge of killing him
if his people cannot bring the money, which was later
reduced to N1.2m, some amount of money was sent across
to the account number provided by the purported
kidnappers and a certain girl who went to cash the sum of
initial N100, 000 sent into the account in one of the new
generation banks located around Agbani road axis on
29/8/13, was tracked and picked by the operatives.
“Her revelation led to the arrest of Samuel who disclosed
that he was not kidnapped but that he kidnapped himself
so that his wealthy younger brothers can pay money for
ransom which he will use to sort out his business dealings”
The girl was identified as one Oluchi Faith Ogbu from
Akpugo in Nkanu West Local Government Area of the
state and a fiancee to Samuel Ani.
“When interrogated, Oluchi Faith Ogbu said that the
account belongs to her but was instructed by Samuel to
supply the account number so that his brothers can pay
the ransom via the account and that she was to cash it as
soon as she receives alert of the payment and bring it to
him.”
The police spokesman said Oluchi’s confession, however,
led to the arrest of Samuel, who said he was not
kidnapped but maintained that he kidnapped himself so
that his wealthy younger brothers could pay ransom which
he would use to sort out his business dealings.
He said apart from the trick he adopted, nothing would
make his brothers give him any monetary assistance even
though he regretted his actions.
Ani admitted that the step he took was not good in the
sight of God, man or law and pleaded for forgiveness.
He said he is a father of five children but never revealed
to Oluchi that he was married as he had promised to
marry her.

minimum.
BTW ... criminal charges against Kingston were dropped in
2010 after cops concluded Capeloto wasn't credible
enough for a legit case.
Kingston has filed legal docs insisting the séx was 100%
consensual.
Trial is set for November.

Traditional healer Ntsimbi Ngema said: "This kind of thing
is done by jealous lovers. There's no way Maria could
have a new boyfriend because he could die after having
séx with her."
A doctor who didn't want to be named said Maria could
be suffering from all sorts of things, including kidney
stones or gall stones.

Nelson Mandela Discharged From Hospital

 Mr Mandela’s discharge this

Mediclinic Heart Hospital
comes a day after confusion
in the Mandela family over
whether the 95-year-old
former president had in fact

Mr Mandela, whose condition is described as “critical" and
"at times unstable," was admitted to hospital June 8
suffering from a recurring lung infection.
His home in the upscale Houghton neighbourhood of
Johannesburg, already fitted with a hospital-like clinic,
has been reconfigured to allow him to receive intensive
care there, according to the statement issued by South
African President Jacob Zuma’s spokesman.
Mr Mandela’s doctors “are convinced that he will receive
the same level of intensive care at his Houghton home that
he received in Pretoria.” “If there are health conditions
that warrant another admission to hospital in future, this
will be done,” the statement said.

Black Jesus Killed

 An infamous cult leader known
as “Black Jesus”, who was
suspected of cannibalism, has
been chopped to death in a
remote Papua New Guinea
village, reports said Friday.
According to AFP, Steven Tari, a convicted rápist, had
been on the run since escaping from a prison in Madang in
the Pacific nation’s east during a mass break-out with 48
others in March.
Madang police chief Sylvester Kalaut said that Tari and
one of his followers were killed at a village about 20
kilometres (12 miles) outside Madang on Thursday as they
were attacking a young woman.
“He is now dead and this could be the fate of the others
who are also on the run from authorities and I am warning
and strongly urging those escapees to surrender
themselves to authorities,” Kalaut told the PNG Post-
Courier.
Tari, a failed Lutheran pastor who was widely known as
Black Jesus, was found guilty in 2010 of ráping girls who
belonged to his Christian-based sect and sentenced to up
to 10 years.
At the time, he had thousands of village followers,
including a core of armed warriors to protect him, in what
is commonly referred to in PNG as a “cargo cult”.
As part of his “culture ministry”, he preached that young
girls were to be “married” to him as it was God’s
prophecy.
Kalaut said the woman Tari was in the process of
attacking was “a flower girl tricked into joining the cult”,
adding that angry villagers had surrounded him and his
companion and killed them.
His death follows that of a young high-school girl about a
week ago — a murder alleged to have been carried out by
Tari.
When he was captured in 2007, there were widespread
allegations that his cult also practiced cannibalism and
sacrificial blood rituals, but police only charged him with
rápe.
PNG is a sprawling nation where black magic, sorcery and
cannibalism sometimes occur.
Last year, police arrested dozens of people linked to an
alleged cannibal cult accused of killing at least seven
people, eating their brains raw and making soup from
their penises.
